Towards Zero Willowfest Championship are delighted to announce that KOOKABURRA is the official & exclusive Ball supplier for the 2016 & 2017 Carnivals.
With the ever expanding Willowfest competition the Towards Zero Willowfest Australian Cricket Club Championships Board saw it fit to commence using the balls that are used all around the World.
Today Kookaburra is the official white ‘Turf’ cricket Ball used exclusively in all ODI’S & T20 match’s worldwide, its Red ‘Turf’ ball is used in the majority of Test matches around the world, while it has led the way in developing a pink ball that has been used for first Day/Night test matches.
Towards Zero Willowfest President Anthony Telfer is extremely excited about the new partnership being established with Kookaburra. “It’s a natural progression to use the World’s finest cricket balls for the 2016 Towards Zero Willowfest T20 & 50 over Turf grade competitions. It’s an exciting time for Kookaburra to come on board. The Kookaburra Balls will be the first to score a game of cricket “Towards Zero” anywhere in the world, a fabulous marketing opportunity for the Kookaburra brand” Telfer said.
Kookaburra spokesperson Shannon Gill said the company was honoured to be involved in Towards Zero Willowfest.
“Willowfest is an iconic event that holds a special place in the heart of cricketers throughout Australia,” said Gill.
“The feedback from Willowfest teams is that the ‘Kooka’ is the preferred ball for cricketers at all levels, so the partnership represents two cricket institutions coming together to provide the best possible play for players, umpires and spectators.”

In addition Kookaburra will be supplying Pink Balls for the first time which will be used for both the Tankard Dental Willowfest Whack & the Willowfest Express Fast bowling competition which is another great initiative for the 2016 Championships The outright winners of each these competitions will also receive some great Kookaburra product.
Finally, to cap the week off, both the Charlie Haeusler men’s player & the ladies player of the Championships will each receive a Kookaburra player’s kit to the Value of $1000.
